Teas are derived from a plant called CAMELLIA SINENSIS. Teas from Camellia Sinensis are mainly produced into Green tea, Black tea, Oolong tea, Puerh tea, White tea, and Yellow tea.
Herbal teas are also called tisanes, They are mainly from herbs like lemon balm, peppermint, chamomile, Hibiscus, Lavender, Cinnamon, Slippery elm, Ginger, blueberry, Peach, Apple, Rose, cardamon, etc
Teas from Camellia Sinensis and herbal teas are prepared in the same way by infusion and decoction.both Teas can be combined to give good flavors taste and aroma which is highly antioxidant and can be medicinal. Teas from Camellia Sinensis contain caffeine. the amount of caffeine depends on the extent of their fermentation and oxidation. while herbal teas especially fruity teas have no caffeine.
