 Green tea is produced from the plant leaves of camellia sinensis.it is one of the most popular healthy beverages world wide.it contains proteins,  polyphenols,  flavonoids which contains  four main catechins which areepicatechin (EC)6% ,epcatechin 3-gallate(ECG)14%,epigallocatechin(EGC)19% and epigallocatechin3gallate(EGCG)59%,aminoacids suchas theanine,glutamicacid,tryptophan,glycine,serine,asparticacid,tyrosine,valine,leucine,threonine, Argnine,andlysine. carbohydrates such as cellulose,pectin,glucose,fructose,and sucrose,
minerals and trace elements such as  calcium,magnesium,chromium,manganese,iron,copper,zinc,molybedium,selenium,sodium,phosphorus,cobalt,strontium,nickel,potassium,fluroide,aluminum, and trace amount of lipids(linoleic and alpha linoleic acids,sterols  (stigmasterol)vitamin B,C,E,Xanthic bases(caffeine,theophylline),pigments (chlorophyll,carotenoids)and volatile compounds such as Alcohol,esthers,lactones and hydrocarbon.
Green tea has numerous health benefits it has anticarcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.
